Bolungarvík Swimming Pool, officially called Musteri vatns og vellíðunar (the temple of water and well-being), is the municipal pool and sports centre at Höfðastígur 1 in Bolungarvík. The fishing town sits at the mouth of Ísafjarðardjúp in the Westfjords, about 15 minutes' drive from Ísafjörður through the Bolungarvík tunnel.

The pool is indoors, 16.66 metres long and 8 metres wide, so it works in any weather. Around it are two hot tubs kept at about 41°C and 39°C, a 37°C wading pool, a 10°C cold tub, a sauna with a rest area and a water slide that runs depending on the weather. The sauna usually opens from 15:00; on Saturdays it has separate sessions for women (13:00–15:30) and men (16:00–18:00).

Opening hours are 06:00–21:00 on weekdays and 10:00–18:00 at weekends. That makes it an easy add-on to a day trip from Ísafjörður to see the Ósvör Maritime Museum, a reconstructed fishing station at the edge of town, or the view from Bolafjall mountain in summer. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

A single adult ticket costs 1,390 ISK, and children under 6 swim free; there are also reduced tickets for children, seniors and disabled visitors, and an adult annual pass costs 22,700 ISK. The town campsite is next to the sports centre, which makes the pool the natural place for campers to shower. If you are based in Ísafjörður, the old Sundhöll Ísafjarðar is the closer alternative, and Suðureyri has an outdoor geothermal pool.
