Why stop in Hvammstangi?
The Icelandic Seal Center provides an introduction to seals and the Vatnsnes area before a coastal outing. The harbour and town swimming pool give shorter alternatives. Hvítserkur and other Vatnsnes stops belong to a wider drive, not a walk from the town centre.
